Hey guys!!!
Wow, I literally can’t believe how fast time went by!! And now…
Yup, my Erasmus+ Exchange at RWCMD is officially over and that means: this is my last blog post!!!
RWCMD
This week I only had a few lessons, but this gave me the opportunity to say goodbye to all the wonderful new friends I made during my time here. I’m sad about saying goodbye, leaving them (for now), but I’m also very excited to catch up with all my friends and classmates back home!
We exchanged our Secret Santa gifts on Tuesday and Wednesday we went out for dinner and ice cream!
After my final lesson on Thursday, I got pretty emotional because it hit me that not only was it my final lesson here, but I will never be back at RWCMD as a student, as part of the institution.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve had my ups and downs here. I’ve experienced some amazing moments, but also (not infrequently) very disappointing ones.
Especially in the last few weeks, it wasn’t always easy for me to see the silver lining.
By now I think it’s clear that I am not the most “naturally” positive person,
but the fact that I have some amazing friends, a supportive husband and an amazing teacher who always help me to put certain things in perspective is truly a priceless gift.
We can learn from every situation, even the disappointing/bad/sad ones and they help us to become even harder, even faster, even better and most importantly, even stronger.
R&R
The rest of the week was nice and chill.
I met up with some friends, we had food, watched movies, did some shopping, had drinks and had a lot of laughs.
This week I’ve also been catching up on a few tv-series that I’m following and of course, I watched a lot of movies and read a few books!
Thank you so much for going along on this crazy rollercoaster ride with me!
I’m very grateful for the opportunity of spending my time in Cardiff and I love that we live in a day and age where it’s so “easy” to stay connected with everyone and that I could easily share everything with you!
Thank you so much for all your support and love!!!
Happy Holidays for now and I’ll leave you with a very short poem by my favourite poet.

Passing Time – Maya Angelou
Your skin like dawn
Mine like musk
One paints the beginning
of a certain end.
The other, the end of a
sure beginning.
?
Life winked at her.
And she grinned back.
It was time to play.
